ICE SHOW VOLUNTEERS -
A BIG THANKS
The North Bay Figure Skating Club’s ice show was fabulous and outstanding! The NBFSC would like to take this opportunity to give a huge thanks to all those who took time to volunteer. As with any successful event, volunteers play a crucial role in its success.
NBFSC Torchbearers
The North Bay Figure Skating Club is proud to announce that Briana LeBlond, a club skater, and Erica Armstrong, Skate Ontario Communications Chair (who is currently living in Fonthill, Ontario) had the opportunity of being part of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch Relay, the longest Torch relay in history to be contained within the Host Country. On December 31, 2009, Briana carried the torch just outside of Rouyn-Noranda in a community called Evain, and Erica carried the torch in Rouyn-Noranda. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity and experience.
Congratulations Briana and Erica!
Schedule Change For Intermediate and Senior Skaters
The NBFSC has acquired ice for Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at the regular session times and has cancelled ice for Monday, February 8, 2010 in exchange for the ice added.
